("I am happy sitting here in the Satchmo on Salesianergasse" - I gosh, I was always afraid a wash-echter Wiener would discover this little blog of mine. There really is a Satchmo?)
For sure! Follow Renweg off Schwarzenbergplatz, past the entrance to the Belvedere, on your left you will see Salesianergasse (it takes you to the Stadt Park) about 300m along on the left is the Satchmo, Typhor will be behind the bar... try the Bosphoros salad.
Ah how the memories come flooding back! The Hawelka, is Leopold still alive? If you go in around four ask for Christopher Wentworth-Stanley… very tall chap, once got stuck trying to climb out of the window of the Gemure Kellar when he couldn’t pay his bill… I can’t go on right now, excuse me.
Saved the best for last, didn't you:)
