Window Shopping: Matteo Thun's Coffee Cups

I chanced upon this witty display of coffee cups
in an optician's (!) store window,
Hartmann's at Singerstrasse and Liliengasse,
around the corner from St. Stephan's.
Their design (by Matteo Thun) evokes memories of my childhood, when mother would fetch freshly ground coffee at the Meinl store: The Julius Meinl company logo is the so-called "Meinl Moor", with a red "fez" hat.

Meinl's famous Delicatessen and Café in Vienna
is located in the first district, at Graben 19,
a two minutes stroll from St. Stephan's cathedral.
